Album Notes & Community Reviews
Dream Theater's debut album, 'When Dream and Day Unite', laid the fundamental groundwork for the progressive metal genre. Featuring Charlie Dominici on vocals, the band successfully fuses the heavy aggression of 80s metal with the highly complex, technical arrangements and uncommon time signatures of classic prog rock.
