Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the departure of Jason Isbell, the revered Southern rock outfit rebounds with a sprawling, nineteen-track masterpiece. The album sees bassist Shonna Tucker stepping up to share vocal duties, contributing to a deeply melancholic, largely acoustic-driven exploration of rural desperation and historical tragedy. It was wildly hailed by critics as a breathtaking return to form and a pinnacle of modern Americana.
