Album Notes & Community Reviews

The second Drowning Pool album, 'Desensitized' was the band's first since the death of vocalist Dave Williams and their only album with replacement singer Jason Jones, who departed in 2005. It debuted at number 17 on the Billboard 200 on the strength of 'Step Up', a top-ten Mainstream Rock single that appeared in the film The Punisher and served as the theme song for WWE's WrestleMania XX. Produced by Johnny K and mixed by Randy Staub, the album's cover famously features porn star Jesse Jane.
