They Often See Dreams About the Spring
by Drudkh
The eleventh studio album from the prolific Ukrainian black metal veterans acts as a conceptual homage to 20th-century Ukrainian poets who were suppressed or executed by the Soviet regime. Musically, the record abandons the progressive meandering of their recent work, returning to incredibly fierce, highly melodic blast beats and driving, sorrowful tremolo riffs. It is widely considered a highly emotional, fiercely nationalistic triumph for the reclusive band.
