Album Notes & Community Reviews

Richmond, Virginia band Drunk, a six-piece led by songwriter Rick Alverson, loosened their slowcore on fourth album 'Tableside Manners', adding vibraphone and a jazzier sense of space to their hushed folk rock. Alverson's murmured vocals and the band's restrained dynamics place the record in the lineage of American slowcore acts such as Low and Bedhead.
