On her second album 'L谩grimas', Dulce Pontes sang Ferrer Trindade's 'Can莽茫o do Mar', a performance later used as the main theme of the Hollywood film 'Primal Fear' and of a Brazilian telenovela. The album is credited with reviving fado for a generation that had abandoned it, the turning point of Pontes's career. Within two years Ennio Morricone had invited her to sing in his score for 'Sostiene Pereira'.
