Album Notes & Community Reviews

Rising from the Boston independent scene, the band perfected their roots-infused, guitar-driven jangle pop on this critically acclaimed release. 'For the Country' is driven by Seth Tiven's ringing guitar lines and melancholic, pastoral songwriting. Despite immense critical praise that poised them for a breakthrough, severe label disputes subsequently derailed the group's momentum.
