Album Notes & Community Reviews

Returning after a five-year hiatus, Gustav Ejstes and his Swedish psych-rock ensemble deliver a profoundly warm, flawlessly arranged studio return. The album heavily prioritizes jazz-inflected flute solos, intricate piano playing, and a deeply nostalgic, 1970s analog production aesthetic. It gracefully avoids the abrasive distortion of their early garage-rock output for a lush, pastoral melodicism.
