Album Notes & Community Reviews

Duran Duran defined the opulent, visually-driven MTV era with 'Rio', an impeccably crafted masterpiece of 1980s new wave and synth-pop. Driven by John Taylor's incredibly melodic, disco-inflected basslines and lush synthesizer arrangements, the album delivers fiercely energetic, highly romantic pop anthems dripping with glamorous, colorful hedonism.
