Album Notes & Community Reviews

Recorded with the acclaimed production team of Steve Barri and Brian Potter, the iconic British vocalist's eighth studio album is an immaculately arranged collection of polished, blue-eyed soul. Featuring interpretations of songs by Van Morrison and David Gates, the record perfectly showcases her remarkably expressive, slightly weary vocal delivery against a backdrop of sophisticated orchestral pop. Despite its high quality, the release struggled commercially during a turbulent period in her career.
