Album Notes & Community Reviews

Released exclusively in the UK, this immensely sophisticated album captures the iconic vocalist navigating the space between orchestrated pop ballads, upbeat R&B, and smoky cabaret jazz. Produced by John Franz, the lush arrangements perfectly highlight her peerless interpretive skills and dynamic vocal control on tracks like 'I Close My Eyes and Count to Ten'. It stands as a masterfully crafted prelude to her legendary Memphis sessions later that same year.
