Album Notes & Community Reviews

The fifth album from the Manchester quartet leans heavily into the kinetic, jagged energy of late-1970s post-punk and art-rock. The tracking features a more guitar-driven approach than their previous synthesizer-heavy records, weaving complex, math-rock-inspired time signatures underneath Duncan Wallis' idiosyncratic falsetto melodies. The project continues their legacy of crafting highly intellectual but deeply rhythmic progressive pop.
