Album Notes & Community Reviews
Recorded during a rainy afternoon at a home studio in London, 'Rain Music' is a beautiful, peaceful collaboration between Sierra Leonean-British pianist Duval Timothy and American ambient producer Carlos Ni帽o. The album's eight tracks are built upon a series of prepared piano and percussion duets, seamlessly integrating organic environmental field recordings. Featuring special guest contributions from Navy Blue, Laraaji, and Nate Mercereau, the compositions capture a warm, reflective, and deeply meditative dialogue with the natural world.
