Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following his explosive debut, Yoakam continues to aggressively resurrect the Bakersfield sound, standing in stark opposition to the glossy pop-country of the era. The record is an undeniable honky-tonk masterclass, propelled by Pete Anderson's twangy telecaster leads and Yoakam's intensely authentic, emotional vocal deliveries.
