Album Notes & Community Reviews
Conceived and recorded during the COVID-19 pandemic, 'SICK!' is a concise 10-song offering that reflects on global chaos while exploring themes of frustration and perseverance. Across the album's 24-minute runtime, production from The Alchemist, Black Noise, and others provides a varied yet dense sonic palette that is noted as being clearer and more direct than its predecessors. This musical backdrop supports a newly assured and fluid lyrical performance from Earl Sweatshirt, marking an intentional and widely acclaimed evolution in his sound.
