arc'tan'gent

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Standing far apart from the bouncy rap-rock that dominated the era, the British quintet's third album is an intense, fiercely intellectual take on alternative metal. 'arc'tan'gent' blends jagged, polyrhythmic Tool-inspired riffing with soaring, emotive choruses and densely atmospheric interludes. Highly praised by the European metal press, the album remains a cult classic of turn-of-the-century progressive heavy music.
