E

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Ecco2k's debut studio album 'E' marked a departure from his previous work, shifting into a blend of experimental pop, ambient, and deconstructed hip-hop. [3, 6] Executive-produced by Gud and Whitearmor, the album's futuristic and often minimalist production is defined by glistening synths, glitchy effects, and Ecco2k's distinctive high, auto-tuned falsetto. [2, 3, 7] The project serves as a definitive personal statement, with impressionistic lyrics that explore themes of substance use, identity, self-loathing, and existential dread. [1, 3, 10]
