Meteorites

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Produced by Youth, the legendary post-punk ensemble returns with a remarkably polished, highly cinematic late-career album. 'Meteorites' largely abandons their early jagged edge in favor of incredibly lush, string-laden alternative rock, heavily spotlighting Ian McCulloch's enduring, remarkably distinctive baritone vocals. The record serves as a profoundly atmospheric, wonderfully melodic, and beautifully mature triumph.
