Album Notes & Community Reviews

The former Saints and Laughing Clowns guitarist continued to forge a remarkably sophisticated solo path with this expansive alternative rock record. Augmented by lush brass arrangements and sweeping backing vocals, the sophisticated production slightly polishes his characteristically cynical post-punk edge. The sharply observed songwriting cemented his reputation as one of Australia's most compelling and fiercely independent musical figures.
