Lay Low

Album Notes & Community Reviews

On the deeply personal album 'Lay Low', Eddie Chacon explores themes of grief, loss, and healing with his characteristically hushed and soulful vocal delivery. Producer Nick Hakim crafts a hazy, intimate soundscape that blends lo-fi R&B with subtle jazz and pop sensibilities, creating an atmosphere that is at once sensual and melancholic. The arrangements feature a mix of mellow drum machines, soft keyboards, and occasional contributions from artists like John Carroll Kirby, resulting in a cohesive work that balances emotional rawness with sophisticated, contemporary production.
