Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced once again in collaboration with keyboardist John Carroll Kirby, the former Charles & Eddie vocalist continues his remarkable late-career renaissance. 'Sundown' bathes Chacon's weathered, gentle vocals in incredibly lush, Fender Rhodes-driven neo-soul instrumentation. The record serves as a profoundly calm, deeply hypnotic exploration of aging, love, and quiet observation.
