Album Notes & Community Reviews
Following their highly successful previous collaboration, 'Bambol茅ate' unites piano innovator Eddie Palmieri and vibraphonist Cal Tjader for another explosive session of Latin jazz. The record balances complex, heavily syncopated Afro-Cuban rhythms with fluid, deeply melodic improvisations from both leaders. The vibrant, heavily percussive energy of the album proved massively influential across the burgeoning New York salsa scene.
