Killer on the Rampage

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Propelled by the massive international success of the hit single 'Electric Avenue', this release became a major commercial breakthrough for the Guyanese-British artist. The self-produced effort prominently features a distinctive blend of Caribbean rhythms and modern electronic funk synthesized entirely in his own Blue Wave Studios. It remains a definitive statement of politically conscious, culturally hybridized pop music in the early 1980s.
