Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following the dissolution of Orange Juice and a quiet solo period, the Scottish singer-songwriter scored a massive, unexpected global comeback with this sophisticated, soul-inflected pop record. Anchored by the fuzz-bass driven, Northern Soul-inspired mega-hit 'A Girl Like You', the album elegantly showcases his sharp, cynical wit and crooning baritone.
