Album Notes & Community Reviews

For his second solo outing post-Orange Juice, the Scottish songwriter leans heavily into lush, introspective jangle-pop. 'Hellbent on Compromise' features his signature baritone croon paired with wry, literate observations and distinctly warm, sophisticated acoustic production.
