Album Notes & Community Reviews

Collaborating closely with John Parish, Mark Oliver Everett shed the somber introspection of his previous work in favor of gritty, distorted rock and roll. 'Souljacker' is driven by aggressive guitar fuzz, stomping rhythms, and seedy, character-driven narratives detailing life on the fringes of society. The album presents a raucous, cynical, and highly energized facet of the Eels' discography.
