Album Notes & Community Reviews

Mark Oliver Everett strips away the heavy rock instrumentation of recent Eels records for an incredibly intimate, profoundly personal exploration of regret and lost love. 'The Cautionary Tales of Mark Oliver Everett' features remarkably sparse, acoustic-driven arrangements and delicate string orchestrations. The album functions as a beautifully melancholic, highly introspective, and incredibly mellow singer-songwriter reflection.
