Album Notes & Community Reviews

The highly acclaimed Finnish saxophonist composed this brilliantly playful, conceptually sophisticated suite originally intended for a children's television program.[cite: 1] The tracks masterfully blend advanced post-bop modal improvisation with warm, deeply infectious jazz-funk rhythms and whimsical melodies.[cite: 1] It is widely celebrated as a remarkably charming, highly inventive cornerstone of the progressive Nordic jazz scene.[cite: 1]
