Album Notes & Community Reviews

Associated with the legendary Gruppo di Improvvisazione Nuova Consonanza, Italian composer Egisto Macchi created this chillingly effective library music album to sonically depict desert landscapes. Utilizing sparse percussion, dissonant strings, and early electronic manipulation, the record functions as a pioneering work of electroacoustic dark ambient.
