Album Notes & Community Reviews

The debut full-length by Memphis rappers Premro 'Eightball' Smith and Marlon 'MJG' Goodwin, 'Comin' Out Hard' was the inaugural release of Tony Draper's Houston label, with production by Draper and the duo. Its nine tracks of Orange Mound street narrative, delivered in a boastful, nocturnal Southern hip hop idiom, earned a place on Spin's list of definitive Southern rap albums.
