Album Notes & Community Reviews
Documenting a fluid, conversational performance between the acclaimed Japanese multi-instrumentalist and the veteran American bassist, this project thrives on delicate tension. Shifting seamlessly between beautiful, melancholic flute and piano melodies to abstract electroacoustic scraping, the recording is a masterclass in dynamic restraint and active listening.
