Album Notes & Community Reviews

An uncompromisingly abstract collaboration between two titans of the modern experimental scene. 'Lifetime of a Flower' features Eiko Ishibashi and Jim O'Rourke utilizing modular synthesizers, manipulated field recordings, and jarring electroacoustic noise to construct a deeply unsettling, fractured auditory environment. It serves as a challenging, entirely improvised exploration of electroacoustic friction.
