Album Notes & Community Reviews
Produced by Jim O'Rourke, the remarkably talented Japanese multi-instrumentalist crafts a deeply sophisticated, wonderfully eclectic pop album that heavily incorporates progressive chamber jazz instrumentation. 'Car and Freezer' brilliantly contrasts highly complex time signatures and avant-garde flute and piano arrangements with incredibly soft, wonderfully bittersweet pop vocal melodies. It stands as a brilliantly lush, beautifully peaceful, and remarkably inventive musical achievement.
