Album Notes & Community Reviews

'The Geography of Dissolution' is the only recording of El Guapo's four-man lineup, assembled from two 1999 concerts: thirteen tracks taped to eight-track DAT at the Black Cat in Washington, D.C., and a further ten from Tonic in New York. Justin Moyer and Nate Smith drive the band's dissonant post-hardcore, coloured by oboe, English horn, glockenspiel and accordion.
