Album Notes & Community Reviews

Operating without founding drummer Richard Jupp for the first time, the veteran Manchester rock outfit utilizes the shift to adopt a significantly more rhythmic, loop-based approach. The album features prominent string arrangements from The Hall茅 Orchestra and Guy Garvey's soaring, romantic lyricism detailing newfound marriage and domestic contentment. It debuted at number one on the UK Albums Chart.
