Album Notes & Community Reviews

Stepping away from the eccentric musical frameworks of The Fiery Furnaces, the songwriter delivers a highly personable and remarkably accessible debut solo record. 'Last Summer' is deeply anchored in 1970s pop traditions, filled with observational lyrics that recount vivid, bittersweet memories of Brooklyn life.
