Album Notes & Community Reviews

Following his dramatic departure from Scorpions, guitar virtuoso Uli Jon Roth unleashed 'Earthquake' as a vehicle for his intense, Jimi Hendrix-inspired heavy psychedelia. The power trio format allows Roth to indulge in massive, mystical guitar solos and spiritually focused lyricism. It stands as a fascinating bridge between 1970s hard rock and the emerging neoclassical metal movement he would later pioneer.
