Album Notes & Community Reviews
Achieving massive mainstream success in a newly democratic Poland, this debut album provided a brilliant, highly satirical soundtrack to the nation's cultural transition. 'Wielka rado艣膰' (Great Joy) relies on undeniably catchy, unpretentious pop-rock arrangements to deliver Kuba Sienkiewicz's deeply sarcastic, philosophically observant lyrics. The record quickly became a cultural touchstone, generating numerous enduring anthems still celebrated across Eastern Europe.
