Album Notes & Community Reviews

Fully transitioning to German-language lyricism, the Berlin outfit crafted a deeply melancholic, highly literary masterpiece of modern chanson. Sven Regener's gruff, poetic baritone is backed by romantic, cabaret-tinged orchestrations and prominent trumpet, creating a uniquely atmospheric, distinctly European indie-pop aesthetic.
