Album Notes & Community Reviews
Continuing their association with the Elephant 6 collective, the Athens, Georgia ensemble leans into a fuzzed-out, lo-fi aesthetic for their fourth studio effort. 'The Winter Is Coming' layers distorted guitars and whimsical keyboards beneath Andrew Rieger's understated vocal delivery. The songwriting relies heavily on surreal, fantastical imagery typical of the collective's psychedelic rock revivalism.
