Album Notes & Community Reviews
The third album from the Montreal duo of Emi Honda and Jordan McKenzie. 'Devastates' continues their unique blend of psychedelic folk and experimental sound collage, crafted from a vast array of acoustic instruments, handmade noisemakers, and field recordings. The album has a raw, organic quality, with haunting vocal harmonies and meandering song structures that evoke a sense of both pastoral beauty and unsettling mystery.
