The New York-based percussionist and composer heavily utilized field recordings captured across Manhattan to construct this incredibly fluid, highly percussive electroacoustic project. The album revolves around his spectacularly complex, skittering free-jazz drum patterns layered over soft Rhodes pianos and warm ambient synthesizer drones. It stands as a brilliant, highly evocative instrumental portrait of modern urban motion and isolation.
