This monumental release presents the first recorded installment of the renowned French composer's ongoing, purely acoustic cycle. Having abandoned her signature ARP 2500 synthesizer, she instructs solo instrumentalists through entirely oral tradition, mapping incredibly precise, slow-moving drone oscillations using harps, cellos, and bass clarinets. The recording is a profoundly deep, nearly imperceptible study of pure acoustic resonance and microtonal shifts.
