Album Notes & Community Reviews

Deeply influenced by her devotion to Tibetan Buddhism, the pioneering French electronic composer utilizes the ARP 2500 synthesizer to construct vast, deeply meditative soundscapes. 'Songs of Milarepa' weaves sustained, slowly evolving harmonic drones with the spoken recitations of texts by the 11th-century Tibetan yogi. The work is widely celebrated as a profound spiritual milestone in minimalist electroacoustic music.
