Album Notes & Community Reviews
The debut long-player from the Montreal-based artist presents a series of dark, sprawling compositions that merge the intensity of gothic blues with the restraint of slowcore. 'Stand With the Stillness of This Day' was recorded at Hotel2Tango and features contributions from members of Godspeed You! Black Emperor. The album is defined by Vajagic's baritone vocals and a pervasive sense of atmospheric dread, balanced by moments of startling melodic clarity.
