Album Notes & Community Reviews

Elizabeth Mitchell's first album for Smithsonian Folkways, 'You Are My Little Bird' was produced by Mitchell with Warren Defever and performed largely with her family, including husband Daniel Littleton and daughter Storey. Its seventeen tracks move from traditional songs such as 'Little Liza Jane' to covers of Bob Marley's 'Three Little Birds', Neil Young's 'Little Wing' and the Velvet Underground's 'What Goes On', and it was voted Best Children's Album of the year by Amazon.com critics.
