Album Notes & Community Reviews

Teaming with arranger Frank DeVol, the iconic vocalist explores a collection of sophisticated mid-tempo numbers and lushly orchestrated ballads. The pristine arrangements perfectly frame her effortlessly smooth delivery, avoiding aggressive brass in favor of a relaxed, intimately swinging atmosphere. The album perfectly captures the sophisticated, sophisticated supper-club elegance of mid-century vocal pop.
