Love & Peace

Album Notes & Community Reviews

Reuniting the monumental rhythmic engine of the classic John Coltrane Quartet, this deeply profound acoustic session was recorded in Japan alongside bassist Richard Davis. The trio navigates highly advanced post-bop structures with telepathic ease, highlighting Tyner's dense, percussive chordal attacks and Jones's rolling, polyrhythmic mastery. It stands as a masterful, fiercely swinging tribute to their shared, revolutionary legacy in modern jazz.
