Album Notes & Community Reviews

Marking a full reunion with his legendary backing band, The Attractions, for the first time since 1986, 'Brutal Youth' is a deliberate return to the energetic, biting power pop of Costello's early career. The record features driving basslines from Bruce Thomas and the signature vintage organ sounds of Steve Nieve, successfully recapturing his classic post-punk era vitriol.
