Album Notes & Community Reviews
Actually recorded over five years prior to its eventual release, the legendary British songwriter delivered a remarkably loose, highly enjoyable album comprised entirely of cover songs. The remarkably eclectic tracklist features relatively obscure rhythm and blues, country, and classic rock and roll tracks written by artists ranging from Screamin' Jay Hawkins to Bob Dylan. The laid-back, highly affectionate tribute album serves as a fascinating window into the diverse musical DNA of his legendary songwriting.
